We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Automotive Sales Software Trainer. As a key member of our Dealership Management Software (DMS) training team, you will play a critical role in providing top-notch support and training to our customers across North America.

The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for learning and mastering our DMS software, as well as developing expertise in training customers on its use. You will work closely with our customers to understand their needs and provide personalized support to ensure they get the most out of our software. This will involve virtual training sessions, on-site visits, and phone support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learns and develops expertise in PBS software
  • Develops understanding of training processes for customers
  • Assists customers with data entry and other key tasks
  • Becomes proficient in completing payroll module (if applicable)
  • Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks without direction from Team Leads
  • Takes initiative to learn new products and increase knowledge
  • Provides excellent support to customers using our software
  • Maintains positive relationships with customers and identifies their needs
  • Responds to internal and external training requests in a timely manner
  • Writes up tickets and investigates issues that arise (escalating when necessary)
  • Create and maintain positive work environment
  • Shares knowledge within silo and other DTO teams
  • Maintains documentation and updates as processes change
  • Commitment to ongoing education and cross-training
  • Monitors DTO queue
  • Willingness to go 'Extra Mile'

Requirements

  • Fluent in French and English (speaking, reading, writing)
  • Experience in sales area of dealership preferred
  • 1-2 years' experience in automotive industry, dealership environment or PBS preferred
  • High School Diploma
  • Computer proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritization
  • Ability to travel within Canada and USA up to 2 weeks/month (valid passport and/or US visa if required)
