We are a leading provider of innovative Dealer Management Software (DMS) solutions, serving the North American retail automotive industry for over 30 years.

In this role as an Automotive Sales Software Trainer, you will be part of our team dedicated to delivering exceptional support and training to new and existing customers. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with virtual training, online and on the phone, as well as onsite training when required.

This position is based out of our Milton office and requires frequent travel to customer sites throughout North America. If selected, you can expect to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, and your skills will be constantly challenged.

Responsibilities:
  • Learn and develop a deep understanding of our PBS software and its applications in the automotive industry.
  • Leverage your knowledge to train customers on how to effectively utilize our DMS solution.
  • Demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks without direction from Team Leads, ensuring timely completion of responsibilities.
  • Take the initiative to learn new products and technologies to increase your knowledge and value to our customers.
  • Provide exceptional support to customers, responding promptly to their needs and escalating issues to the corresponding teams as necessary.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with customers, identifying their needs and ensuring they are being met or exceeded.
  • Write up tickets and investigate issues that arise, working closely with internal teams to resolve them efficiently.
  • Create and maintain a positive work environment, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning within our department.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the automotive industry and adapt our training materials accordingly.
  • Monitor the DTO queue, ensuring timely resolution of customer issues and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years' previous experience in the automotive industry, dealership environment, or a similar field.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the USA up to 2 weeks per month; valid passport and/or US visa (if applicable), and full class driver's license are required.
