We are a not-for-profit organization dedicated to bridging the skills gap in Manitoba's aerospace industry. Our mission is to empower Indigenous individuals with education and career development opportunities that lead to fulfilling careers.

As an Indigenous Recruitment Coordinator, you will play a vital role in our team by recruiting and retaining Indigenous candidates for training programs. You will work closely with the Centre for Aboriginal Human Resource Development (CAHRD) and Neeginan College to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies, provide support services to trainees/employees, raise awareness of the aerospace industry among the Indigenous community, and promote understanding of Indigenous issues for the local aerospace industry.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • To be an Indigenous person
  • To have a degree or certification in a field related to education, psychology, sociology, behavioral science, human resources, or social work
  • To possess excellent written and oral communication skills
  • To have practical knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • To have experience in recruitment, marketing, or outreach activities
  • To have knowledge of local Indigenous communities
  • To hold a current driver's license and have access to a vehicle
  • To be willing to work occasional evenings and/or weekends

Aerospace/aviation experience is not required, as we will provide on-the-job training to the right candidate. We offer a competitive salary, which is estimated to be around $65,000 per year, based on similar roles in the industry.
