The Administrative Finance Specialist will provide high-level administrative and clerical support to the Indigenous Womens Healing Centre. This includes overseeing resident accounts and participating in financial practices.
Responsibilities:
- Under the direction of the Operations Manager/Finance Officer, provide administrative and clerical support.
- Oversee the handling of resident accounts.
- Participate in all general financial practices of the Centre.
- Provide business administration support.
- Be proficient in Quick Books.
- Work independently and with a management team.
- Handle multiple accounts.
- Accounts payable/receivable experience.
- Payroll experience.
- Multi-task and function in a high-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Indigenous customs and traditions.
- Working knowledge of Centre programs and services.
- Government and funding source requirements.
- Valid Manitoba Driver's License and access to a vehicle.
- Enhanced Security Clearance.
