Public Relations Specialist

Job Title: Public Relations SpecialistSalary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Public Relations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for promoting and protecting our brand and reputation through multiple communications channels.
The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in Communications, Journalism, PR, or a related discipline and a minimum of 5 years experience in the field. They will possess strong writing and editorial abilities, project management skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, WordPress, and Adobe CC.
You will work closely with our management and program staff to develop and implement effective communication strategies that build trust within the community we serve. This includes creating press releases, press kits, newsletters, and related marketing materials, as well as managing social media posts and campaigns.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires attention to detail, creativity, and excellent communication skills. If you are passionate about public relations and want to make a difference in the Indigenous community, we encourage you to apply.
