Job Summary
The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Indigenous Banking group, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with Indigenous communities, identifying business opportunities, and driving growth in our assigned region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business plans to achieve sales targets and grow our Indigenous banking business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Indigenous community leaders, organizations, and stakeholders.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations.
- Provide coaching and support to Regional Managers and Commercial Banking Unit Leaders to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in Indigenous banking.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements to ensure our business is compliant and competitive.
Requirements
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, and relationship-building.
- Strong understanding of Indigenous cultures, communities, and business needs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
