About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fundraising Strategist to join our team at AFP Golden Horseshoe Chapter. As a key member of our management team, you will play a crucial role in advancing our healthcare initiatives in south-central Ontario.

Job Summary:

The Senior Fundraising Strategist is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies that drive revenue growth and support our mission to improve healthcare outcomes in our region. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic fundraising plans that align with our organizational goals and objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with major donors, corporate partners, and community leaders to secure significant funding commitments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for growth and develop targeted campaigns to engage new supporters
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on fundraising activities, including donor interactions, gifts, and campaign progress
  • Analyze data and trends to inform future fundraising strategies and optimize results
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices in fundraising, philanthropy, and non-profit management to ensure continuous improvement and innovation

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of progressive fundraising experience, with a proven track record of success in securing major gifts and leading fundraising campaigns
  • Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining strong relationships with donors, stakeholders, and community leaders
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions
  • Post-secondary education in business, marketing, communications, or a related field; or equivalent experience
  • Certificate in development, fundraising, or event planning an asset
  • Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation is an asset

Salary Range: $120,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience
