We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Regional Organizing Specialist to join our team at Ontario's NDP. The ideal candidate will have experience in campaign organizing and outreach, with a strong network of contacts within the Labour movement and community organizations.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategic outreach plans for ridings and candidates, as well as engaging with local riding association executives to build capacity and meet their statutory obligations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic outreach plans for ridings and candidates, including online engagement and targeted political action
  • Maintain regular contact with local riding association executives to support their operations and volunteer engagement
  • Assist in the development and distribution of training materials for assigned ridings
  • Engage in riding development, including fundraising, training, membership drives, and candidate search and nomination processes
  • Execute and optimize technical elements of engagement programs, including email and text message campaigns, and management of Call Hub
Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience in campaign organizing and outreach, preferably with the Labour movement or community organizations
  • Strong understanding of digital spaces, including texting programs, community management on social media, and mass email tools
  • Familiarity with key political and community networks, including labour and social movements
  • Access to a broad network of contacts, including labour and social movements
Skills and Qualities
  • Excellent political judgment and analytical skills
  • Awareness of and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion practices and policies
  • Ability to travel frequently, often on short notice, and possess a valid driver's license and car
  • Working knowledge of French or fluency in another language an asset
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is between $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, the successful candidate will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and holidays.
