Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our Ontario region team in Toronto.

About the Role

This HR professional will act as a strategic partner to the Ontario regional leadership team, creating and implementing HR plans that support the business strategy. Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with business leaders to identify and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes aligned with the business strategy.
  • Forecasting and planning the region's talent pipeline requirements and executing talent strategies for development and succession planning.
  • Providing HR expertise on people-related areas such as recruitment, talent management, performance management, compensation systems, and employee relations.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years' relevant work experience in human resources, with a strong background in recruiting, performance management, and employee & labour relations.

Key Skills and Qualifications

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Strong HR Business Partner experience and ability to conduct workplace investigations, workforce planning, employee relations, talent development, organizational change, employee & labor relations, and performance management.
  • Degree from an accredited post-secondary institution in HR or a related field of study.
  • Possessing strong business acumen, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
