**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Consultant to join our Regional Services Division in Toronto. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your expertise in business planning, budgeting, and risk management to drive business growth and improve client satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**

1. Develop and implement divisional business plans and strategies

2. Monitor and report on divisional performance, identifying issues and risks as appropriate

3. Partner with executive management team to assess and improve current business processes

4. Build understanding and capacity throughout the division for business planning, budgeting, and risk management best practices

5. Oversee divisional budget information, including development, analysis, and forecasting

6. Lead the budget process cycle and monthly updates for district management teams and VP

7. Ensure effective communication between departments and districts to improve client and stakeholder satisfaction

8. Collaborate with key departments and districts to keep them updated on process changes designed to improve service

9. Assist lines of business in implementing plans and resolving discrepancies

10. Organize and execute assigned business projects according to client requirements

11. Establish methods for testing business applications and create templates for reports used to monitor effectiveness

12. Submit and present regular divisional reports to Vice President, Senior Executive, and Board

13. Provide advice on staff relations, staffing, and classification, including labour relations, duties, and responsibilities of positions and changes to business structures and budget reductions

14. Collect information about different lines of business through various methods (surveys, reviewing reports, etc.)

15. Consult with Finance, Business Intelligence, and IT to ensure data collection process integrity and enhance shared understanding of emerging data needs

16. Analyze and interpret data to uncover weaknesses and problems, comprehend causes, and formulate recommendations and solutions

17. Present findings and suggestions with justification and practical advice
