At Stonewood Group Inc., we are seeking a seasoned Senior Accounting Executive to fill the role of Partner for our Southwestern Ontario region. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic professional to contribute to the growth and profitability of our firm.

Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is between $160,000 to $250,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Job Description

This role involves maintaining and growing existing client relationships, as well as proactively developing new connections through networking and business development activities. The successful candidate will work closely with other professionals in the region to develop and grow the practice, focusing on industry knowledge and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients
  • Proactively develop new relationships and business through networking and general business development activities
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to other members in the region
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate department staff
  • Continuously develop industry knowledge and expertise
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Commerce, or Administration with a CA designation
  • 10-15 years of public accounting practice experience
  • Hands-on experience working with entrepreneurial, owner-operator, mid-market clients across various sectors
  • Ability to deliver high-quality, profitable services to existing and new clients
  • Prior experience supervising a team and reviewing the work of team staff members
  • Excellent communication skills
