About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented House Person to join our team at the Pantages Hotel. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and quality of our hotel meet the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain designated areas, including restrooms, public spaces, offices, and meeting rooms;
  • Perform tasks such as dusting, polishing, vacuuming, mopping, and washing windows;
  • Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner;
  • Report maintenance issues and items in need of repair;
  • Stock and maintain supply rooms as needed;
  • Participate in deep cleaning tasks and special projects;
  • Deliver guest requests and assist with cleaning guest rooms;
  • Assist room attendants with removing dirty linen and garbage from their carts;
  • Assist with robe and linen inventories;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Housekeeping experience is an asset, but not required;
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and materials is desired;
  • Ability to lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and over 25 pounds with assistance;
  • Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces;
  • Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods across a work shift;
  • Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight;
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays;
  • Ability to perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
