About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team at Rain Day Spa Inc. as a Cleaning Services Professional. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our spa facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning Duties
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment for our guests.
    • Dust furniture and fixtures to maintain a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail.
    • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to ensure a clean and comfortable environment.
    • Make beds and change sheets to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
    • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to our guests.
    • Stock linen closets to ensure a sufficient supply of linens.
    • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
    • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to ensure a safe and clean environment.
    • Handle and report lost and found items to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
    • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items to provide exceptional customer service.
    • Provide basic information on facilities to our guests.
    • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and safe environment.
    • Launder clothing and household linens to ensure a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
    • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and comfortable environment.
    • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to ensure a clean and safe environment.
    • Clean changing rooms and showers to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns to provide exceptional customer service.

    Requirements
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • Will train or equivalent experience.
    Work Environment

Our spa facilities are a non-smoking environment, and we require our staff to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene at all times.

Work Setting

We are a day spa, and our staff work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of customer interaction.

Language

The primary language spoken in our spa is English.

Work Hours

We require our staff to work 40 hours per week, with overtime required to meet the demands of the spa.
