About the Role:
The University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Graduate Program Assistant to join its Admissions and Recruitment team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to prospective students, applicants, and current students, ensuring a seamless experience throughout the admissions process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for general inquiries and respond to enquiries within the defined scope of the role
- Schedule appointments for prospective students, applicants, and current students to address individual needs
- Provide detailed information regarding admission requirements to prospective students and applicants
- Determine logistical details required for the execution of admissions processes
- Disseminate program materials to prospective students and applicants
- Track and maintain a calendar of events
- Resolve issues that may occur during events and escalate problems as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience
- Minimum two years working in recruitment, admissions, student affairs or a customer-oriented related area
- Experience developing and maintaining records and files
- Solid working knowledge of a CRM software and University student information system (preferably ROSI)
- Be a detail-oriented individual; excellent time management; able to follow specific instructions
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent customer service skills, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and faculty
- Demonstrated advanced skills in using MS Office, including but not limited to Excel and Mail Merge
