Program Completion Officer

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Completion Officer to join our team at the University of Toronto. As a key member of our Student Academic Services group, you will play a critical role in enhancing the quality of student services for graduate students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply University policies and procedures related to graduate program completion
- Maintain accurate records for all tasks related to program completion administration
- Generate reports and disseminate information to stakeholders
- Coordinate operational workflows of program completion administration activities
- Provide job-related training and serve as a resource to colleagues
- Frequently respond to complaints and ensure rapid and accurate issue resolution or escalation
- Support exam activities and related processes
- Liaise with stakeholders to coordinate space and resource requirements
- Liaise and track the distribution and return of convocation materials
- Apply knowledge of systems to troubleshoot technical issues
- Maintain records of final oral examination committee decisions, thesis outcomes, and manage the thesis tracking database
- Review and assess student records to confirm eligibility to graduate
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Two years of recent and related experience in a university setting
- Good working knowledge of the University's Student Information (ROSI) system
- Demonstrated ability working with high volume and tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Computer and internet proficiency, including expertise in Excel, Sharepoint, and other MS Office Suite
- Ability to interpret and apply guidelines and policies to various situations
- Superior customer service and interpersonal skills
- Highly developed problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with event planning and preparation, including booking rooms
- Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills
- Able to maintain confidentiality and ensure privacy of student information
- Good judgment, tact, and discretion when dealing with sensitive information
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge of School of Graduate Studies' policies and procedures an asset

Estimated Salary Range: $66,715 - $85,319 annually, commensurate with experience.
