The Executive Chef at Wings up will be responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operation, ensuring seamless service delivery and exceptional dining experiences.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our culinary team. As an Executive Chef, you will lead by example, demonstrating a passion for food quality, presentation, and consistency. Your expertise in menu planning, inventory management, and team leadership will drive our restaurant's success.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a strong understanding of Canadian and international cuisine. You will work closely with our management team to ensure efficient kitchen operations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Your role will involve:

  • Preparation and cooking of complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Inspecting kitchens and food service areas to maintain high hygiene standards
  • Ordering supplies and equipment to optimize inventory and reduce waste
  • Maintaining accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Cleaning kitchen and work areas to meet health and safety regulations
  • Leading kitchen operations, managing staff, and motivating your team to deliver exceptional results

  • Basic math skills, with accuracy when handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
