Job Title: Business Development Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Officer to join our team at MUSAFIR IMMIGRATION SOLUTIONS INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas, supervising professional and support staff, and administering programs to support economic growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise professional and support staff to ensure effective program delivery
  • Administer programs to promote industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas
  • Perform administrative tasks to support economic growth initiatives
  • Plan and develop venture capital sources to support business growth
  • Recruit and hire staff to support program delivery
  • Respond to enquiries from members of the business community concerning development opportunities
  • Provide advice on procedures and requirements for government approval of development proposals
  • Prepare reports, research papers, educational texts, or articles to support program delivery
  • Provide consulting services to government and other organizations to support economic growth
  • Conduct analytical marketing studies to identify business opportunities
  • Review and evaluate commercial or industrial development proposals to ensure alignment with program objectives
  • Design market research questionnaires to gather data on business opportunities
  • Develop a portfolio of marketing materials to promote business opportunities
  • Evaluate customer service and store environments to identify areas for improvement
  • Design, conduct, and analyze quantitative and qualitative research projects to identify business opportunities
  • Prepare funding applications to support program delivery
  • Provide consultation on planning and starting of new businesses to support economic growth
  • Develop marketing strategies to promote business opportunities
  • Develop and implement business plans to support program delivery
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
  • Lead sales team in building relationships with business clients and manage negotiations of sales contracts
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in business development or a related field
  • Proven track record of promoting industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong knowledge of business development principles and practices
  • Ability to develop and implement business plans
  • Strong marketing and sales skills
  • Ability to lead sales teams and manage negotiations of sales contracts
