Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Sales Representative to join our team at MAPEI Inc. as a Territory Manager. This is a key role that requires strong business acumen, technical knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Develop and maintain relationships with architects, engineers, and designers to promote MAPEI products and services.
  • Territory Management: Manage a designated territory to achieve sales targets and grow business in the Central Region.
  • Product Training: Provide product training and technical support to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports to management on territory performance and market intelligence.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.) accredited by OSPE, or diploma from an accredited Engineering Technologist program.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in engineering or architectural sales, or sales experience in a technical role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of MAPEI products, industry standards, and quality practices.
  • Language: Fluency in English, with ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
