National Vice President, Water & Wastewater Job Opportunity

The Water & Wastewater sector is a vibrant market with immense potential for growth. We are seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our diverse team of 300+ members as National Vice President, Water & Wastewater.

Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President, you will be responsible for driving business expansion in the Water & Wastewater sector, fostering strong customer relationships, enhancing financial performance, and contributing to our organizational goals. Your innovative leadership and technical expertise will play a crucial role in shaping our strategic plan and creating an inclusive work environment where all team members feel engaged and motivated.

  • Drive Growth: Leverage your extensive knowledge of the Water & Wastewater sector and your network of industry contacts to fuel business growth.
  • Strategic Acquirer: Utilize your market insight to identify potential acquisition opportunities for WSP Global.
  • Develop and Implement Strategies: Collaborate with the business line executive and finance leader to develop operating plans and financial forecasts.
  • Lead Implementation and Excellence: Oversee the implementation of the operating plan and its objectives, focusing on employee development, client relations, project delivery excellence, quality, and financial performance.
  • Mitigate and Deliver: Direct leaders on measures to mitigate project performance issues and risks, ensuring successful delivery on contractual commitments and financial targets to meet client expectations and exceed profitability targets.
  • Foster a High-Performance Culture: Create a high-performance work environment and complete integration to a one WSP culture, ensuring a high degree of employee engagement and low turnover of staff.
  • Optimize Financial Performance: Optimize financial performance including net revenue, operating margin, and DSO (receivables).
  • Collaborate and Satisfy: Work with peers nationally and globally to leverage technical expertise, ensure client satisfaction, and implement best practices.
  • People Leader: Proven ability to create a high-performance environment and empower teams.
  • Strategic Thinker: Expertise in addressing growth opportunities and balancing risk-taking.
