Job Title: Food Service Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Food Service Operations Manager to join our team at Kenora Pizza LTD.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food service department, ensuring that all aspects of our business run smoothly and efficiently. This includes managing staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and implementing effective inventory management systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of 5-10 people, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance targets.
  • Maintain a fast-paced work environment, working under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ensure a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods is managed effectively to prevent fatigue.
  • Participate in regular meetings with the management team to discuss operational matters and implement changes as necessary.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, customers, and suppliers.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving common goals.
  • A flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.

Work Environment:

This is a permanent, full-time position, with a standard 35-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be based in Kenora and will have access to public transportation. We strive to maintain a positive and inclusive work environment, with a focus on teamwork, respect, and open communication.
