About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Culinary Lead to join our team at Baïrrada Churrasqueira Grill Inc.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our kitchen team, ensuring exceptional culinary standards, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Culinary Leadership: Supervise and train cooks, specialist chefs, and other kitchen staff to maintain high-quality dishes and presentation.
  • Menus and Planning: Plan menus, ensure food quality meets standards, and prepare dishes for customers with dietary restrictions.
  • Sourcing and Procurement: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, arrange equipment purchases and repairs, and consult with clients regarding events and functions.
  • Staff Management: Supervise 3-4 people, lead training sessions, and instruct staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a chef or in a related field.
  • Cook Trade Certification.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and oral communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment, and maintain attention to detail.
Compensation:

This is a salaried position with an estimated annual salary range of $65,000-$80,000 based on location and experience.
