Job Summary:
As a key member of our culinary team at 1001 Western Restaurant Canada Inc., the Executive Culinary Lead will oversee the preparation and presentation of our menu items in a fast-paced, hot restaurant setting. Our ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience and a passion for delivering exceptional food quality.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, and inventory.
• Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to cooking staff and instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, and presentation of food.
• Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events and supervise cooks and other kitchen staff.
• Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities, ensuring that food meets quality standards and train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.

Requirements:
• Criminal record check and own transportation, with public transportation available, are required.
• Preferred qualities include dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, and being organized and a team player.
• Free parking is available on site.
