Job Summary:
A.S.P. Incorporated is seeking a skilled Resource Planner to manage the scheduling of staff to ensure seamless operations. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to maintain confidentiality and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Staffing of all open hours and processing communication to ensure proper staffing.
- Designing, maintaining, and implementing schedules for all job sites as required.
- Maintaining and providing all reports as required and ensuring all electronic reports are transmitted as per requirements.
- Documenting all work hours, time differences, and employee changes in the online systems to ensure accuracy.
- Assigning new staff and re-assigning staff according to site requirements and established procedures.
- Ensuring all vacancies due to any kind of absences are filled and communicating the information regularly with Human Resources.
- Tracking and submitting additional costs of training time and unbillable overtime.
- Assisting in tracking and analyzing scheduling trends.
- Maintaining communication with all stakeholders within operation.
- Reporting non-compliance to company policies, procedures, and or violations within the collective agreement if applicable.
- Ensuring data relevant to employee lateness, illness, or positive feedback received are communicated to the Manager, Resource Planning.
- Ensuring that all employee complaints are resolved as quickly as possible or referred to management, HR, or Area Manager.
- Disseminating duties post orders to staff when assigning duties.
- Positioning may be required to work days/evenings/nights and weekends as required to meet organizational needs.
- Demonstrating ability to work effectively with employee groups and building partnerships at all levels of the organization.
