About the Role:



We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Shutdown Coordinator to join our Shutdown Delivery team at Metso. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling shutdown projects, ensuring seamless execution and minimizing downtime.



About You:



To be successful in this role, you will need 1-3 years of experience in the consulting engineering environment, with a strong background in industrial construction projects. A college or university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technician, or Electromechanical Technician is also required. Additionally, you must be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:





  • Scheduling optimization to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency

  • Coordination of shutdown projects, including activities in Microsoft Project and Primavera P6

  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings

  • Producing daily reports and coordinating meetings



Travel Requirements:



This role involves up to 70% travel internationally, so you must be comfortable with frequent travel and able to adapt to new environments.
