About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Boston Pizza Athabasca. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team and ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that meet the tastes and preferences of our customers
    • Source high-quality ingredients and suppliers to ensure consistency and freshness
  • Culinary Leadership
    • Lead and motivate a team of cooks and kitchen staff to achieve exceptional results
    • Provide training and guidance to ensure that all team members are equipped to deliver high-quality dishes
  • Food Safety and Quality Control
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety
    • Conduct regular kitchen inspections to identify and address any issues
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize stock
    • Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and a positive dining experience
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Work Setting
    • Willing to relocate
    • Relocation costs covered by employer

    • Ability to lift heavy loads
