About the Role

  • Perform laboratory procedures in all areas of microbiology, including serology and molecular diagnostics.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
  • Ensure completion of assigned work and prepare accurate reports.
  • Participate in educational, safety, and quality improvement programs.

Requirements

  • Mandatory:
    • Current General (active practicing) registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO).
    • Recent (within 5 years) experience as a Medical Laboratory Technologist.
  • Preferred:
    • 1 year recent experience in microbiology.
    • Experience in microbiology industry sterility testing.
    • Proficiency in the use of Laboratory Information System and MS Office (Word, Excel).
