The estimated salary for this position is $70,000-$90,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.

Job Description

As a Medical Lab Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting a wide range of diagnostic and interpretive specimen testing, preparing and processing samples, and releasing results while ensuring patient confidentiality.

You will also assist with the evaluation and implementation of new technology, participate in problem-solving, and adhere to laboratory safety protocols and quality assurance standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • College diploma or university degree in Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent education and experience
  • CMLTO registration and good standing
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to distinguish multiple colors
