About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Business Development Leader to join our team at Amazon Web Services Canada, Inc. - D46. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, adoption, and innovation in the research and education segment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business strategies that drive revenue growth and adoption in the research and education segment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry leaders.
  • Lead the development of business cases and proposals to support new business initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and provide strategic insights and recommendations to inform business decisions.
About the Team

Our team is responsible for driving business growth and innovation in the research and education segment. We work closely with customers, partners, and industry leaders to identify and pursue new business opportunities, and to develop and execute business strategies that drive revenue growth and adoption.

Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and adoption in the research and education segment.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a founder or executive in a related field.
  • Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations.
