Administrative Coordinator

We are seeking an Administrative Coordinator to join our team at the Canada Pathway Foundation. As an Administrative Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our team, including arranging seminars, conferences, and meetings, recording and preparing minutes, scheduling appointments, and answering telephone and electronic enquiries.
The ideal candidate will have a secondary school graduation certificate and 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role. You will be organized, able to multitask, and have a client-focused approach. You will also be able to work independently and under pressure, with attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
As an Administrative Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating seminars, conferences, and meetings
- Recording and preparing minutes
- Scheduling appointments
- Answering telephone and electronic enquiries
- Compiling data and statistics
- Overseeing the preparation of reports
- Responding to employee questions and complaints
- Organizing staff consultation and grievance procedures
- Overseeing payroll administration
- Greeting people and directing them to contacts or service areas
- Typing and proofreading correspondence, forms, and other documents
- Recruiting and hiring workers and carrying out related staffing actions
- Performing basic bookkeeping tasks
- Planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating daily operations
