Administrative Assistant

At CANADA PATHWAY FOUNDATION, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our day-to-day operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is proficient in administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordination: Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events.
  • Minute-Taking: Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences.
  • Scheduling: Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls and relay messages, and respond to electronic enquiries.
  • Reporting: Compile data, statistics, and other information, and oversee the preparation of reports.
  • Employee Support: Respond to employee questions and complaints, and organize staff consultation and grievance procedures.
  • Payroll: Oversee payroll administration.
  • Customer Service: Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas.
  • Correspondence: Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents.
  • HR: Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions.
  • Bookkeeping: Perform basic bookkeeping tasks.
  • Operations: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations.
Work Environment
  • Independence: Ability to work independently.
  • Fast-Paced: Fast-paced work environment.
  • Pressure: Work under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail.
  • Supervision: Work with minimal supervision.
Requirements
  • Language: English language fluency.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience.
  • Benefits: Free parking available, permanent employment, and 35 hours per week.
