SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA is seeking an experienced Regulatory Risk Analyst to join its Trade Surveillance team in Montreal. This is a unique opportunity to work with a global leader in the financial industry, contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of financial regulations and laws, particularly those related to anti-money laundering, anti-terrorism financing, sanctions & embargoes, know-your-customer obligations, client protection, market integrity, anti-bribery & corruption, data protection, and client tax transparency.

The primary responsibilities of this role include reviewing trade surveillance alerts, escalating issues to relevant stakeholders, participating in the development and testing of new surveillance scenarios, and assisting with the review and analysis of new and/or amended industry rules and regulations.

This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.

In return, SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA offers a competitive salary of $85,000 per year, a minimum of 20 vacation days plus 4 personal days, supportive maternity, paternity, parental, and adoption leave policy, health spending account ($2,000/year) and personal spending account ($1,000/year), fully sponsored virtual healthcare assistance, and Employee Assistance Program to you and your immediate family.
