About the Role

Mayers Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Patient Care: Provide support with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Medical Support: Assist with medical procedures, such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and preparing patients for surgery.
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, including making beds, cleaning equipment, and performing laundry duties.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory of supplies and equipment to ensure efficient care delivery.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
