About the Role

Mayers Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Patient Care: Provide assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, to ensure patients maintain their independence and dignity.
  • Medical Support: Assist with medical procedures, such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and providing basic first aid.
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by performing tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and restocking supplies.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Transportation: Safely transport patients between care facilities and within the facility as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory of supplies and equipment to ensure timely restocking and minimize waste.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
