The successful candidate will lead the organization across 5 provinces in Canada, driving strategic initiatives for employee engagement and talent development. They will possess strong organizational skills, professional judgment, excellent communication abilities, and empathy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement customized human resources strategies aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Drive strategic initiatives for employee engagement, talent development, and succession planning.
  • Provide comprehensive human resources services including recruitment and onboarding support, payroll and benefits administration, performance management, employee relations, compensation reviews, and policy improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Act as an employee champion and change agent by anticipating human resources related needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or business administration; master's degree preferred.
  • CPHR designation completed or working towards completion preferred.
  • Strong leadership with 7+ years human resources management experience.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and compliance across AB, BC, ON MB & SK.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills.
