Director, AML Compliance

Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for creating innovative solutions to complex problems? Do you have a strong background in anti-money laundering (AML) compliance and a keen understanding of the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act and associated Regulations?

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement an effective AML compliance program for the Government of Alberta, ensuring all federal AML reporting obligations are met.
  • Lead the AML compliance program for online gaming, monitoring its effectiveness and identifying measures to address potential gaps.
  • Provide expert advice to executive management on AML obligations related to online gaming, including strategies for effective compliance with federal and provincial legislation.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support the development of effective reporting systems and IT platforms.
  • Build a high-performing team by establishing training, unit objectives, priorities, work plans, and deadlines.
