We are seeking an experienced AML Compliance Specialist to join our team in Edmonton, AB. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing anti-money laundering (AML) compliance programs, policies, and procedures.


Key Responsibilities:

The AML Compliance Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring and analyzing customer transactions to identify suspicious activity
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Conducting periodic reviews of customer accounts
  • Preparing reports and providing guidance and training to staff


Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in AML compliance
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
