Strategic Digital Health Leader

About the Role
The Government of Nova Scotia is seeking a skilled individual to lead the development of strategic digital health initiatives. As a key member of the Department of Health and Wellness, this role will focus on driving digital transformation and improving health care services in Nova Scotia.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for digital health innovation and develop strategies to leverage these opportunities
- Develop and implement plans to improve digital health services, including the development of policies and guidelines
- Provide leadership and guidance to teams working on digital health projects, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Engage with external partners, including the Nova Scotia Health Authority and the IWK Health Centre, to advance digital health initiatives
- Contribute to the development of the department's digital health strategy, ensuring that it aligns with the government's overall vision and goals
Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as health administration, public health, or computer science
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in a health-related field
- Proven track record of leading digital transformation initiatives and driving results
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
