Job Summary

The Data Science Leader - Digital Innovation will support the NSCN vision, mission, and strategic direction through strategic and operational leadership related to technology, data, research, and innovation. The successful candidate will have expertise in developing and maintaining data reporting environments, with experience in analytics tools such as Power BI.

Responsibilities
  • Establish and lead the development and execution of innovative strategies for data management, technology, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to bring additional value to NSCN systems partners.
  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive and proactive digital strategy while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to leverage data insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in data analysis, business intelligence, and artificial intelligence to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of innovation.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree (Master's) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role preferably in the area of health care, health policy, or regulation.
  • Expertise in developing and maintaining data reporting environments, with experience in analytics tools such as Power BI.
  • Deep knowledge of data governance protocols, data quality programs, and risk assessment strategies.
  • Proven experience working closely with departmental leads and IT to align database strategy with operational goals.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing creative and innovative digital solutions.
