The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Business Relationship Manager to join our team at WSP. As a key member of our Corporate Business Relationship Management team, you will serve as a strategic interface between our IT department and corporate functions teams, ensuring that our IT services and solutions align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with multiple stakeholders across the organization, acting as a trusted advisor on IT-related matters.
  • Demand Management: Support the management of corporate demands, service escalations, and executive engagement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate the value and impact of IT services to business stakeholders, enhancing understanding and support for business initiatives.
  • Requirements Gathering: Drive business requirements gathering, documentation, and prioritization for each new initiative, translating business needs into high-level requirements.
  • Change Management: Support change management efforts related to business initiatives enabled by IT, ensuring smooth transition and high adoption rates.
  • Governance and Compliance: Ensure business initiatives comply with global IT policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Performance Management: Ensure each business initiative that gets to the delivery stage has a strong business case, and support the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) that link IT service delivery and project outcomes with business performance objectives.

What You'll Bring to WSP:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience as a BRM, Business Analyst, or related role.
  • Skills: Proficient in strategic business partnering with a passion for developing relationships, strong customer awareness, and a proven track record of ensuring stakeholder inclusivity.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or BRMP are preferred.
