What is the role?
As a key representative of RBC, you will offer financial guidance and manage a portfolio of valued small business clients. Your role will involve assisting them in launching, managing, and expanding their enterprises. By leveraging your skills in external marketing and client development, you will foster new business opportunities for RBC while enhancing existing client relationships. Collaborating with fellow RBC advisors and specialists, you will help create a valued experience for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, nurture, and expand client relationships by delivering customized financial advice tailored to their specific needs.
- Proactively engage with clients to gather insights, understand their evolving needs, and ensure their satisfaction with RBC services.
- Strategically plan and prioritize client and market activities, identifying opportunities and facilitating introductions to RBC partners to meet clients' financial requirements.
- Assess risks and ensure compliance with banking procedures, developing appropriate action plans to address any concerns.
- Promote digital engagement and advocate for RBC's mobile and online platforms, enabling clients to connect with RBC through their preferred channels.
- Visit clients on-site, when feasible, to gain a comprehensive understanding of their business goals and operations.
Qualifications for Success:
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience in business development, client acquisition, and leveraging local business networks.
- Strong track record in managing client relationships effectively.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is required to serve our diverse clientele.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of credit processes, including risk assessments and financial analysis.
- Completion of relevant training programs or experience in small business ownership or related fields.
- Familiarity with a wide range of business and personal financial products and services.
