What is the role?
As a Business Relationship Manager Intern, you will deliver financial insights and guidance while overseeing a portfolio of valuable small business clients. Your role will be pivotal in helping these enterprises navigate their growth and operational challenges. You will represent RBC in the local business landscape, leveraging your skills in marketing and client engagement to foster new business opportunities and strengthen existing relationships. Collaborating with other RBC professionals, you will help create a valued experience for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance client relationships by providing customized financial advice tailored to their specific needs.
- Engage proactively with clients to gather insights, understand their evolving needs, and ensure their satisfaction with RBC services.
- Strategically plan client interactions and market initiatives, identifying opportunities to connect clients with RBC resources to meet their financial objectives.
- Assess risks and adhere to banking protocols, formulating action plans to address any concerns.
- Promote digital solutions and advocate for RBC's online and mobile platforms, facilitating client engagement through preferred channels.
- Conduct on-site visits to clients to gain a comprehensive understanding of their business goals and operations, as appropriate.
Qualifications for Success
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in business development and client acquisition, with the ability to cultivate influential relationships within the local business community.
- Demonstrated excellence in managing client relationships effectively.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is required to serve our diverse clientele.
