Role Overview

As a Digital Product Delivery Lead at TechBlocks, you will lead cross-functional teams across Canada, the U.S., and India, overseeing cutting-edge digital projects involving Web, Mobile, and IoT technologies.

This role suits individuals passionate about innovation and thriving in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure project execution aligns with TechBlocks' PMO methodologies, guaranteeing successful delivery and early business value.
  2. Manage projects encompassing website, web application, and mobile application development.
  3. Coordinate teams across multiple geographies to ensure timely delivery and quality management of projects.
  4. Directly oversee the project life cycle from kickoff through development, testing, and launch while handling complex, multi-year projects.
  5. Implement Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban to drive project success, solidly understanding the Waterfall process.
  6. Collaborate with Business Analysts (BAs) to write user stories and contribute to requirements-gathering sessions, ensuring dynamic prioritization.
  7. Understand key business requirements and work closely with technical teams to deliver on those requirements, leveraging Design Patterns and Middleware technologies.
  8. Lead project delivery by working closely with all stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
  9. Plan project phases/gates, allocate resources, and define timelines using PM Tools for efficient management.
  10. Track work progress, manage risks, and facilitate transparent communications throughout the project lifecycle.
  11. Manage, report on, and forecast project and engagement budgets, providing cost/benefit analyses to internal and external stakeholders.
  12. Make resource allocation decisions to meet client needs, billable utilization targets, and departmental resource allocation goals.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years of project management experience focusing on web and mobile application development.
  • At least 3 years of experience actively working on digital product roadmaps, collaborating with product managers, and facilitating UX engineering workshops.
  • Certifications include Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Agile Scrum certification.
  • A strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle across all phases, including experience with both Agile and Waterfall processes.
  • An understanding of website development, User Experience (UX) design principles, and familiarity with Cloud technologies.
  • The ability to conduct discovery workshops with business stakeholders for mid-market and enterprise clients.
  • Experience managing teams across multiple geographies, including offshore locations.
  • Expertise in project management tools such as JIRA, Tempo, MS Project.
  • Previous experience transitioning into a technical project manager role with a strong web and mobile application development background as a BA or BSA or developer.

Compensation Package: This position offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
