Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at 1439560 ALBERTA LTD. O/A KIDS 'R' US DAYCARE#1. As an Early Childhood Educator Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our daycare and ensuring the well-being and development of our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in Program Development: Collaborate with our Early Childhood Educators to design and implement engaging programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Record Keeping: Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of children's progress, including observations, milestones, and any concerns.
  • Engagement and Activities: Plan and lead activities that foster children's curiosity, creativity, and love for learning, such as storytelling, singing, and arts and crafts.
  • Support Daily Operations: Assist in preparing snacks, setting up rooms and furniture for meals and rest periods, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to ensure a smooth and harmonious daycare experience.
  • Professional Development: Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and to share your own expertise.
Certifications and Qualifications
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate: A valid ECE Certificate is required for this position.
  • First Aid Certificate: A current First Aid Certificate is also required.
Work Environment
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours of Work: 32 to 40 hours per week
