About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Balwin Learn N Play Daycare & Out of School Care. As an Early Childhood Educator Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our daycare and out of school care programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Early Childhood Educators: Assist in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Record Keeping: Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in maintaining accurate records.
  • Engage Children: Engage children in activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Preparation and Maintenance: Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Observations: Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Staff Meetings: Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
Certifications and Qualifications
  • Child Development Worker (ECE Level 2)
