Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Education Assistant to join our team at 1439560 ALBERTA LTD. O/A KIDS 'R' US DAYCARE#1. As an Early Childhood Education Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our daycare and ensuring the well-being and development of our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Support: Assist early childhood educators in implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Record Keeping: Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Engagement and Activities: Engage children in various activities, including storytelling, singing, and craft preparation, to promote their learning and development.
  • Personal Care and Hygiene: Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Meal Preparation and Environment Setup: Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Observations and Progress Updates: Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Staff Meetings and Collaboration: Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children, ensuring a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Certifications and Training
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate: A valid ECE Certificate is required for this position.
  • First Aid Certificate: A current First Aid Certificate is also required.
