About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at La Perle Child Development Centre & After School Care. As an Early Childhood Educator Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our centre and contributing to the care and education of our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in Program Development: Collaborate with our Early Childhood Educators to design and implement programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Engage Children in Activities: Plan and lead activities that foster children's creativity, curiosity, and learning, such as storytelling, singing, and craft preparation.
  • Record Observations: Document children's progress and submit written observations to Early Childhood Educators or supervisors.
  • Participate in Staff Meetings: Contribute to staff meetings to discuss children's progress, share ideas, and address any concerns.
  • Support Certifications and Training: Assist in maintaining certifications, licenses, and memberships related to Early Childhood Education.

Language and Work Environment
  • Language: English is the primary language used in the workplace.
