Job Summary

DHANTI INVESTMENTS LTD. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that staff are meeting performance expectations.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, and prepare budget and cost estimates for food service activities.
  • Work Schedules: Establish work schedules for staff, and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
Work Environment

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods and interacting with customers and staff on a regular basis.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
