Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 0869408 BC LTD. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff

Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that staff are equipped to perform their roles effectively.

Estimate and Manage Food and Supplies

Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet demand.

Lead the Food Service Team

Lead the food service team, including hiring and training new staff, and ensuring that all staff are aware of their roles and responsibilities.

Ensure Quality and Safety Standards

Ensure that all food and service meet quality control standards, and that all staff are aware of and adhere to food safety and sanitation procedures.

Manage Budget and Finances

Prepare budget and cost estimates, and manage finances to ensure that we are operating within budget.

Maintain Records and Reports

Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare reports as required.

Communicate with the Chef

Prepare food order summaries for the chef, and communicate with the chef to ensure that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards.

Supervise Tray Assembly and Delivery

Supervise and check the assembly of trays, and ensure that all food is delivered to the correct locations.

Establish Work Schedules

Establish work schedules for the food service team, and ensure that all staff are aware of their schedules and responsibilities.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role

Language

English
