We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Sushiwood Fernie. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our kitchen operations, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement menus, ensuring that they meet the high standards of quality and presentation expected by our customers.
- Manage a team of kitchen staff, providing training, guidance, and support as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of food supplies, stock levels, and equipment maintenance.
- Supervise kitchen operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Cleanliness and safety in the kitchen area is paramount. Ensure all staff adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as an executive chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor during peak periods.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- A competitive salary of $55,000 per annum.
