We are looking for a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Nevados.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment, with a strong background in food preparation and management. They will be responsible for maintaining records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory, analyzing operating costs and other data, and supervising activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers.

In this role, you will also be responsible for demonstrating new cooking techniques and equipment to cooking staff, creating new recipes, instructing cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food, and supervising cooks and other kitchen staff.

Additionally, you will be required to prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions, as well as prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.

Requirements
